Recently I had the absolute privilege of attending the AI 100 UK Awards at the House of Lords. The event, hosted by Digital Leaders, celebrated the people and organisations across the public, private, academic, charity and civic sectors, who are driving responsible and impactful use of artificial intelligence across the UK.
To my surprise (and delight!), I was honoured to be named in the Top 5 Private Sector Leaders among so many incredible innovators using AI to make a difference and named number 7 overall. Standing alongside such talented people reminded me just how much energy, creativity and compassion exists in this field. The atmosphere was inspiring, full of collaboration, optimism and shared purpose.
I’m incredibly proud to see CareBrain recognised in this way. When we started, our goal was simple but ambitious: to use AI to make life better for those working in and cared for by the social care sector. From improving efficiency to supporting better outcomes for those receiving care, our mission has always been about combining technology with humanity. To have that vision acknowledged on such a respected national stage means the world.
The winners and fellow finalists were all so deserving- every story shared on the day was a testament to what’s possible when technology is guided by empathy and responsibility. I came away feeling deeply inspired, and more determined than ever to keep pushing boundaries for the people who matter most: those delivering and receiving care.
A heartfelt thank you to Digital Leaders for such an uplifting event, and congratulations to everyone recognised on this year’s AI 100 list. It was truly an honour to be part of it.
Here’s to continuing the journey of building AI that cares.
